A newly purchased CBRF in Deforest is looking for someone that loves to cook.

Job Duties:
Prepare and serve meals according to DHS 83 regulations Assists in the inventory and receiving of all food and supplies as required Follow and prepare meals in accordance with corporate menus/recipes and with resident dietary considerations Follow Standard Precautions when prepping/serving including appropriate temperatures, cleanliness, storage and palatability to ensure the prevention of food borne illnesses Maintain a sanitary kitchen - free from cross-contamination and infectious disease Maintain and keep the walk-in refrigerator/freezer and dry storage clean and organized Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed Reports needed maintenance, faulty equipment or accidents to the director immediately Cleans kitchen and dining room after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Stores or discards excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures.
Follow proper food storage and rotation procedures Maintain & comply with the kitchen cleaning schedules Maintain a clean working environment including dish area Assist in fostering residents' independence with eating by providing adaptive equipment when needed Maintain professional conduct and high level of personal integrity in accordance with the Employee Handbook Comply with any pandemic policies Performs other duties as assigned This position requires standing and walking continuously throughout the working day, reaching, stooping, bending, lifting, carrying, and manipulating various food products, dietary supplies, and equipment.
It requires visual acuity and color discrimination for examining cooked and stored foods, and taste and smell discrimination in determining nutritional quality and palatability of foods.
The cook must be free from infection or disease, have the ability to work with chemicals and cleaning agents, and be able to be exposed to temperature and humidity changes in the kitchen.
The cook must be able to lift and/or carry 25 to 50 pounds.
Must be available to work every other weekend and every other holiday.
Priority will be given to those with experience working in long term care; particularly CBRF.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
