Essential Duties and Responsibilities Exhibit personal performance and attendance at the highest levelExhibit leadership in the area associated with rate and technical performanceBe a working example to all team membersAlign the team by balancing work cells with proper manpower to meet takt requirementsInitiate the actions necessary for goal achievement, and coordinate with the Production Supervisor as neededAssure the people are given the assignments that best allow them to succeed in the area for that particular days challengeBe immediately available to employees in the work area to answer technical assembly questions, address production concerns and other technical work functionsBe able to meet all requirements of Assembler positionSupport transitioning new employees to the area of responsibility(Welcome, ensure they understand what to do, have tooling, etc.
)Ensure safety, quality and productivity is met in area of responsibility (operating safely, defects, etc.
) Responsible for maintaining takt for area of responsibilityPerform all technical job responsibilities in a timely manner, including, but not limited to:
Takt sheet maintenance Status sheet maintenance Assist the Production Supervisor in technical performance information on area employees Work with Production Supervisor to take Gemba walks and sustain an acceptable level of 5SInitiate actions (e.

Qualifications Education:
Must have 6 months to 1-year related experience building trailersThis includes equipment, application skills, troubleshooting and trainingMust be able to work independently as well as function in a team environmentPerson should be experienced in Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and have shown the ability to learn other software/technologyLicenses/Certifications:
